The Eye of the Needle

A post grad with 3 modules (14 days)

Dr. Peter A. Levine (USA)

       Registration

It was 15 years ago when Peter A. Levine first taught the Eye of the Needle Advanced Training. Today he would comment that this special body of work, at the heart of which are near-death or coma experiences, has evolved tremendously since that time. On one hand, this is due to so many more facts and data on the effects of anaesthesia and on the issue of partial waking up during anaesthesia having become available in the meantime, and on the other hand it applies because SOMATIC EXPERIENCING (SE) as such has become more and more refined and has undergone significant further development.

For Peter A. Levine, The Eye of the Needle continues to be the most challenging material to teach within the framework of his lifetime achievement. In consideration of these changed circumstances, even more subtle and challenging skills are required when we set out to explore this difficult kind of therapeutic treatment and learn to understand it from the point of the body. From this perspective, the knowledge related to The Eye of the Needle obtained 15 years ago is no longer enough to ensure optimum facilitation of processes related to the subject.

The evolution of the work around The Eye of the Needle is a reflection of the general evolution of SE in the last five years. Peter A. Levine commented that he felt the need to increase the precision of his own work on near death experiences for being able to teach it on an advanced level. Since both the data which have been gathered in the meantime as well as clinical experience have increased tremendously, a single The Eye of the Needle seminar has long since ceased to suffice in order to reach the envisioned goal of top-quality therapeutic treatment, and even two courses are no longer enough, which is why, following consultation with the founder of SE, we have agreed to offer the first 3-part The Eye of the Needle special training worldwide.

For the sake of containment, this special training consisting of three parts and a total of 14 days of can only be booked as a whole. Participants who already attended the Eye of a Needle part 1 and potentially also part 2, will be able to register for this part at half the price. Registration for part 3 will only be made available to those who attended parts 1 and 2 in the version offered in 2020. The course management reserves itself the right to advise participants accordingly in case they are found unsuitable for continuing the training or in case there are clinical concerns around their way of providing therapy on this exquisite level.

Participation in the Eye of the Needle trilogy shall be contingent upon having completed a full SE training. In some exceptional cases (e. g. if somebody has had years of body-centered experience in body-based therapeutic work), registration shall also be made possible for individuals who at that point have only attended half of the Advanced year of the training. Whether this individual shall be approved will be decided jointly by the teacher and the organizer in charge.

This class can only be booked as a whole with 3 parts.
Participants who have already done "The Eye of the Needle" 1 and 2 in previous years, pay 50% towards the first two modules.
